like the song says this is a blog for someone who wants to say something (anything) and who's happy to wait and see what time will bring...
This is the topic that I am going to be speaking on this Friday night, 7:30 (for 7:45 kickoff) at Christ Church St.Ives. It's put on by the mission group at my church - and is a chance for me to speak about student ministry and what I'm doing etc.

I have the privilege (and most days the joy) of working fulltime in Christian ministry with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students: and I'm based at the biggest testimony to ugly concrete designs - UTS - where with a team of others I minister to young men and women (well, more so to the girls!). I also sometimes work as a freelance makeup artist which allows me to indulge in a couple of my great loves; being creative, playing with colour and spending time with a wide variety of people. This blog has a couple of purposes - namely a forum for me to express things that I have been experiencing or thinking through (whether in day-to-day life or in ministry) and hopefully as a way to challenge some others in how they view the impact of Jesus on their lives too.

Weird, I was thinking about how I was going to type "I'd be there in a heart-beat were it not for youth group & it being on the eve of mission", but it appears that Justin's heart beats faster than mine!

jodi, would have loved to have been there....actually was AT the church...but with a bunch of crazy 12yr old girls instead, sorry dude!
